NYSID seeks highly motivated individual for an Account Representative position in Central New York. Responsibilities include procuring contracts with government agencies for New Yorkers with disabilities. Territory includes approxiamtely 7 counties. Must possess strong verbal and written communicative skills, be able to work independently, and balance multiple tasks to achieve established goals. Travel required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related area of study, with 3-5 years experience in sales or marketing, required. Experience in the rehabilitation industry and/or government market a plus. Knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office Suite and Excel a must.

Responsibilities include market analysis, telephonic and face-to-face customer outreach, account management, sales support and business development of new and existing commodities to state and local government customers. Also includes providing feedback internally and to NYSID Member Agencies regarding market data, potential new items, expanded product lines and pricing.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Admin.or related area of study.
1-2 years work experience in sales, marketing. Strong interpersonal, organizational, sales and presentation skills. Valid drivers license for significant statewide travel. Knowledge of the government marketplace and rehabilitation industry a plus.
