 Objectives of the Course:

       
           
 
This half-day afternoon course will focus on miscommunications and lack of communication. Participants will learn strategies, skills and practice models for listening, delivering instructions, providing feedback, asking questions and determining best communication methods. Learn how best to handle situations including face-to-face, voice mail and e-mail communication.

- to identify and apply effective communication skills
- to review and practice standards of workplace courtesy and respect
- about behaviors that build relationship and those that destroy them
- to identify gender differences in communication styles
- to distinguish between constructive and destructive questions
- how to recognize the influence of words, tone and body language in personal communication
