 Objectives of the Course:

       
           
 
This course will review the guidelines of NYSID’s Quality Reviews. Agencies that are new to the Preferred Source Program, producing their first commodity, providing a new service contract or involved in Corporate Partnering should attend this course. Participants will learn about the Quality Process as well as requirements on the Value Added Labor Ratio. This course will take the mystery
out of the Preferred Source Program and will provide a venue for open discussions.

Sharon Segura, NYSID’s Quality Assurance Coordinator brings over 10 years experience in the Quality Assurance Field to NYSID, including implementing and maintaining certification of ISO9000 and TL9000 Quality Management Systems. Ms. Segura has experience leading teams and work groups in developing procedures and policies relevant to ISO 9000. Additionally, Ms. Segura is
certified through the America Society for Quality (ASQ) as a Quality Auditor, she received her certification in 2001. She is an active member of ASQ and the National Association of Female Executives.
