NYSID Makes an Impression at The Arc of Steuben
The Arc of Steuben named Cynthia Slovensky, NYSID’s Commodity Sales Specialist, as its 2018 Customer of the Year for helping the Arc’s Printers Plus affirmative business achieve record sales last year.
The Arc business operations team recommended Cynthia for her knowledge, understanding and commitment to finding opportunities to grow their business. According to Arc Executive Director Bernie Burns, “A great example of Cynthia’s dedication to our agency can be seen through an opportunity to supply a potentially new NYSID customer with extensive apparel needs. Working as a team to understand the customer’s requirements, she helped us develop a successful bid and gain a new customer.”
Most importantly, this expanded Preferred Source procurement created more employment and learning opportunities for workers in Steuben’s custom apparel business.
